A New Wind Power Project in Operation

On December 31th, 2022, Jinzhou Heishan 400MW wind power project, onshore project with the largest single capacity in Liaoning Province connected to the grid.

Weiguang is honored to be the cable supplier of this project, which is invested and constructed by State Power Investment Corporation. A total of 80 wind turbines with a single capacity of 5MW and a 220 kV booster station has been built, with a total investment of 2.248 billion yuan.

After the project is put into operation, it can provide 1.13 billion kWh of green electricity per year, which can meet the annual electricity consumption of nearly 600,000 households, helping to save 345,000 tons of standard coal every year and reduce 912,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

It will energize regional economic and social development, as well as the construction of a new energy system.
